Rising Damp
Rising damp can appear in walls with no damp proof course or faulty treatment, or in connection with other problems, including leaking pipes. The usual signs are damp patches and surface salts.
Border Timberguard will take moisture readings to confirm whether rising damp is present. Typical treatment will depend on your property, and may include a damp proof course and replastering.
